The 7th Annual Christmas Workshop was held Saturday, September 27. It was scheduled for the multi-purpose building, but when a group of us went there to setup on Friday afternoon, another group was in there. So the Recreation Dept. moved us into the new convention center, This required some really quick rearranging after I spent hours planning the layout in the original building. Well, despite this and the fact that my hard drive crashed a few weeks earlier, requiring me to get a new computer, learn Vista AND the new Office Products which contain all my business records, we were up and running on Saturday morning. Only two people were dropped in the crash, and thanks to Sally Proctor, Lorraine Revalee and Cindy Mayer we were able to make room for them. Based on the feedback everyone had a wonderful time even with bad lighting and a terrible sound system. Several recommended that we return to the Multi-Purpose Building next year. I've got the plans all ready for it there. Well, it certainly was a fun time. Enjoy the pictures.

Before the rush. It looks a little lonely at this point in time. It looks like Kay West is greeting someone, and Carol Heath is helping at the door.

Brenda was welcoming the attendees and announcing the days events.

She's still talking....

Here you can see that everyone could move about pretty freely in this facility.

Here'a a good picture of most of the attendees. This was taken at the beginning of the day so everything looks pretty organized at this point.

More men should join Thomas Smith at these events. He said he had a great time. I give him loads of credit for beign surrounded by a bunch of women. We hope he'll return again next year.
